Today is the Ohio Republican Primary Election, and the polls open at 6:30am, so I’ll be blunt.

Gun owners have a lot on the line in this Republican Primary, but it’s also our biggest chance of the election cycle to make an impact for our gun rights.
And the gauntlet has been thrown down by gun-control proponents in our Statehouse and Governor’s Mansion.
Are we going to let them get away with their attacks on our gun rights?
Are gun owners going to let the Republican sponsors for Bloomberg’s gun-control agenda get away with it and not pay a price?
Are gun owners going to let those who never lifted a finger to fight back for gun owners continue to enjoy their state paychecks and health insurance and continue ignoring the battle that rages for our Second Amendment?
And are we going to let Mike DeWine get away with his outright refusal to apologize for his anti-gun record or his refusal to go on record on the major issues gun owners will face in the coming 4 years?
Make no mistake about it, Web. The winners of the gubernatorial and legislative races today will have a huge impact on gun rights for many years to come.
That’s why I’m hoping you’ll take a few minutes to scan through our 2018 Ohio Gun Owners Pre-Primary Candidate Survey Results below, and when you are done, go vote pro-gun!
We surveyed all of the candidates for the Ohio House, Senate and Governor’s Mansion (in both parties), and as you’ll see when you click the link below we asked them a series of nine questions on issues that matter the most to pro-gun voters.
Of course, every politician claims they “support the Second Amendment.” Heck, even Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama said as much.
But what politicians say to get elected and how they vote after they get elected are two separate things entirely.
Our straightforward questions were designed to be tough for politicians to answer falsely.
And they were also asked plainly so that if a politician breaks their promise, we can aggressively hold them accountable for it.
We provide these survey results for you so that gun owners like you can walk into the voting booth and make the biggest impact for your gun rights as possible!
That’s why I’m hoping you’ll do two things right away, Web:
When you’re looking through the results, did they bother to return the survey? Are they bold for the Second Amendment?
Will they FIGHT for your gun rights, for your kids’ gun rights, for your grandkids’ gun rights?
At a time when our gun rights are under blistering attack, sitting on the sidelines isn’t acceptable anymore – it’s part of the problem.

(Note: If you live in an even-numbered Ohio Senate district, you will not have a Senate Primary as only the odd-numbered districts are up for election this year.)
(Note: If you don’t see your House district number in the survey results, you don’t have a House Primary)
(Note: Ohio Gun Owners surveyed every candidate in BOTH parties, but as of this writing not one single Democrat candidate in Ohio has returned their survey. Shameful.)

With lower turnout expected in today’s primary elections versus the general election in November, a Republican primary vote holds far greater power than during the general election when everybody votes.
In other words, today’s primary is your chance to repay the politicians for everything they did to you during the legislative session!
If they were pro-gun, this is your chance to let them know you appreciate it!
On the contrary, if they opposed your gun rights or if they’re hiding their views by refusing to fill out the OGO Candidate Survey, it’s your chance to pay them back!
So please, yet this morning, forward this email to every pro-gun friend that you have, urge them to check out our pro-gun candidate survey results and ask them to vote pro-gun in today’s Republican Primary.
