BREAKING NEWS:
We just received word that HB227, Constitutional Carry, is up for another hearing TOMORROW at 9AM at the Statehouse!
Make no mistake, this is due to the pressure YOU have been pouring on Chairman Shane Wilkin and the committee members to bring up and vote on this bill.
But the fight is not over yet.
This hearing is slated for ‘All Testimony’, which means that supporters AND Bloomberg’s minions, the Red Shirt Radical Commie Mommy Brigade, will have the ability to testify.
So we need to make a big showing of support tomorrow.
If you can make it to the Statehouse at 9AM for the hearing, here’s how you can submit your testimony and speak in person:
- Type testimony in favor of HB227, Constitutional Carry, addressed to Chair Shane Wilkin and the Committee.
- Fill out the online witness form here. And save the form to your computer
- Submit the documents via email to: GovernmentOversightCommittee@
ohiohouse.gov - Be sure to put in your email that you are testifying in person.
If you cannot make it in person, you can still enter your testimony in support for Constitutional Carry into the written record!
We need to make sure that we flood the committee with your testimonies, so here is how you do it:
- Type testimony in favor of HB227, Constitutional Carry, addressed to Chair Shane Wilkin and the Committee.
- Submit the testimony via email to: GovernmentOversightCommittee@
ohiohouse.gov - Be sure to put in your email that you are submitting this written testimony for the official record.
Of course, we will be there to testify in favor of the bill as well, but if you can make it, we look forward to kicking @$$ for our gun rights with you tomorrow!
For Freedom,
Chris Dorr
Executive Director
Ohio Gun Owners
P.S. Need an idea for what to write in your testimony? Here is an example:
Dear members of the House Government Oversight Committee,
I’m writing this testimony to be entered into the official record in support for Constitutional Carry, introduced by Representatives Tom Brinkman and Kris Jordan.
Constitutional Carry gets government out of the rights-regulation business and restores the ability to carry a firearm for self-defense without begging government permission or adding oneself to a government database.
As we have seen in history, governments are the single biggest threat to innocent human life, and it is important that the Ohio General Assembly wipe as many infringements off the books as it possibly can while it has the votes to do so.
This is important, common sense gun legislation that is sweeping across America, and it has my full support!
