On behalf of the board of directors, I want to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas!
We mention family often in our emails and direct mail updates to our members and supporters because, after all, that’s the whole point of Ohio Gun Owners -– preserving and defending the Second Amendment for the next generation!
Our forefathers fought and died to make sure that we would have the ability to keep and bear arms, to be able to defend ourselves from criminals and tyrants.
Now our children and grandchildren are counting on us to do the same thing, and working together, we’re going to continue to do just that!
Gun owners will have to continue standing together, as the gun control rhetoric reached a fevered pitch here in Ohio this year — coming from our governor, the media, lawmakers, and Bloomberg-backed front groups.
For the rest of the day, we are going to do what you are doing, spending time with family and friends.
But tomorrow the fight for the Second Amendment resumes, as the 2020 legislative session convenes in just days!
Please get ready for a fight over the future of our Second Amendment freedom; we’re going to need all hands on deck!
With the 2020 elections on the horizon and lawmakers nervous about having to face gun owners in the near future, now is our chance to defeat DeWine’s gun-control bills and make Ohio the next Stand-Your-Ground state!
But we’re going to need an overwhelming amount of grassroots pressure to make this happen.
