On behalf of the board, I want to take a moment to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as we approach the end of 2017.
As you spend time with your loved ones this weekend, I hope you’ll recommit yourself to the fight for the Second Amendment as the legislative session is about to resume in Columbus.
After all, isn’t that why we do all of this in the first place, to safeguard the Second Amendment for the future generations that are counting on us?
Looking back, 2017 was an important one for gun owners because we built the framework needed to position ourselves for major overhauls in 2018.
Speaking of 2018, it promises to be wild and wooly!
Of course, our fight continues for Constitutional Carry, which because of gun owners like you made more progress than any other year since it was first introduced in 1995!
Not only that, we are gearing up for a major battle to push for Stand-Your-Ground law, too!
But we can’t ignore the plans Big Gun-Control has for Ohio, either.
Gun grabbers in Columbus are on the warpath, emboldened by the tragedies in Southerland Springs, TX and Las Vegas, so we’ll have to make sure we kill every gun-control bill introduced.
The races to replace Governor Kasich, Senator Sherrod Brown and our entire Congressional delegation promise to be white-hot.
As always, we will keep you informed in every step along the way. And we are counting on your grassroots activism to make the difference in 2018, as it has throughout all of 2017.
So as we wrap up 2017, thank you again for all your hard work and for defending your right to keep and bear arms in Ohio.
Let’s make 2018 our best year yet!
