Sign the SAPA Discharge Petition!

We’re done beating around the bush, the time to pass SAPA is NOW!

For the last three and a half years, Joe Biden’s administration launched nearly daily attacks on our 2nd Amendment, which is why gun owners stormed the polls on November 5th and kicked their butts out of Washington.

But in response to the Biden attacks, OGO worked with our allies in the Ohio General Assembly to introduce the Ohio Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA), so that Ohio gun owners would be PROTECTED from federal tyranny by preventing Ohio cops from enforcing federal gun-control!

Unbelievably, the Ohio General Assembly has not done a single thing to future-proof the rights of Ohio citizens against federal gun-control.

In fact, the legislature hasn’t passed a SINGLE substantive bill this entire session!

But even worse than that, the Ohio General Assembly BLOCKED SAPA for the same three and a half years as a political favor to the gun-control lobby (like the FOP and the Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association), all in exchange for their endorsements and PAC checks for their campaigns!

Don’t forget, these are the same gun-control groups that have testified against EVERY pro-gun bill we’ve passed in the last ten years, like Stand-Your-Ground law and Constitutional Carry.

It’s “Lame Duck Session” in Columbus, which means its our last shot to crank up the pressure and DEMAND that they do the job they promised to do all the way back in the 2022 elections.

The time to pass SAPA is NOW!

The bill is done.

The language is perfect. We made all the changes we needed to after the Missouri court case.

The bill does a beautiful job of protecting gun owners from federal tyranny and it equips Ohio law enforcement with the tools they need to get all the bad guys.

It’s time for the Ohio General Assembly to get off their asses and put this bill on the floor.

NOW.

Please contact your State Representative and demand that they sign the discharge petition for HB51 to put it directly on the House floor, and then vote YES on the bill – or face the consequences of angry gun voters at the next Republican primary election!
