The Second Amendment IS my firearms permit.”
I’m sure you’ve heard that phrase before.
If you’re like some gun owners I know (myself included), perhaps you even have a t-shirt proudly declaring it so.
That’s what the Founders intended when they enshrined our Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights – to limit government’s power to restrict the People’s ability to protect against government tyranny and ensure that America would never be taken over by tyrannical oligarchs seeking to turn our New World into a third-world disaster.
That’s why gun owners in thirteen states have already passed “Constitutional Carry,” where their citizens no longer have to beg government permission to carry a firearm for self-defense.
And in those thirteen states, there has been:
➤ ZERO increase in violent crime.
➤ ZERO increase in accidental shootings.
➤ Positive INCREASE in demand for training classes after Constitutional Carry passed!
The reason why is simple: law-abiding gun owners are the best citizens in America, and they go get training whether someone tells them to or not.
Gun owners in Ohio are no different, and that’s why we’ve teamed up with Representatives Tom Brinkman and Ron Hood to introduce the Ohio Gun Owners Constitutional Carry Act!
Constitutional Carry is simple: if you’re legally allowed to own or buy a gun, you’re legally allowed to carry it concealed.
Currently in Ohio, if you’re legal to own a gun, you’re legally allowed to carry it openly with no jacket on.
All Constitutional Carry would do is make it so that you can put a coat on to cover it.
Like I said already, thirteen states have Constitutional Carry, and if Ohio is to follow suit we need your help.
With most of the legislature set to attend a retreat later this week, we need to make Constitutional Carry the hot topic in Ohio gun politics.
As you’ll see when you click the image below, we’ve already done the work for you.
