It’s been an amazing year for gun rights as gun owners sent countless pro-gun legislators to State Legislatures and General Assemblies across the country to fight for the Second Amendment.
States like Missouri, Idaho and neighboring West Virginia passed huge gun rights expansion bills, including both Constitutional Carry and Stand-Your-Ground law!
Bloomberg and his front groups opposed them.
The main stream media opposed them.
Radical anti-gun legislators opposed them.
But all of Bloomberg’s money couldn’t silence the organized activism of the pro-gun grassroots.
It’s time to bring that fight home to Columbus.
Your calls, emails, Facebook messages, and visits with your legislators can make this possible here in Ohio!
No longer should you and I have to beg government permission or pay expensive fees to carry a firearm to protect ourselves and our families.
No longer should our self-defense laws favor the criminal over the law-abiding citizen because we don’t have Stand-Your-Ground protections.
No longer should you be worried about retreating from your attacker before defending yourself or your children.
With your help, we intend to change these laws during the upcoming session!
Working with Rep. Ron Hood, we’ll shortly be unveiling legislation to pass Constitutional Carry and Stand-Your-Ground here in Ohio.
Ohio Gun Owners will be counting on you to stand firm and make your voice heard, and to make sure your legislator knows that you expect him or her to support this legislation at every step of the process.
For years Constitutional Carry has been introduced at the Statehouse, only to be sidelined by committees and legislators unwilling to advance it without being pushed.
So we need all hands on deck!
The 2017 legislative session kicks off in just ten days!
I hope you’re gearing up for it.
