With the U.S. House of Representatives passing H.R. 8, Joe Biden’s dream to subjugate and register every gun owner in America through an ever-growing federal database is inching closer to completion.
Along with the news of Senate GOP members willing to cave and sellout on gun control, and O’Biden’s recent executive orders on gun control, Ohio needs to act FAST in order to stop it.
Not to be outdone, Dianne Feinstein unveiled a massive, 125-page long, bill that would ban your AR-15 along with over 200 additional semi-automatic rifles, pistols and shotguns.
All of this underscores the necessity of Ohio lawmakers taking action on the Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA), which would nullify ALL of Joe Biden’s gun control agenda!
OGO’s SAPA bill, introduced by Representative Mike Loychik (HB62) has been scheduled for a Sponsor Testimony hearing TOMORROW, and we need your help!
SAPA legislation defends Ohioans against tyrannical federal gun-control laws by requiring Ohio’s peace officers to ONLY enforce Ohio law where firearms, ammunition and accessories are concerned.
In other words, Senator Feinstein’s bill that would make it a felony to buy an AR-15 or a 30-round magazine would fall flat on its face here in Ohio because it couldn’t be enforced by Ohio law enforcement!
So would Biden’s efforts to mandate a national database of all gun owners, whether that’s H.R. 8, H.R. 127, H.R. 121 or any other legislation.
This is how we hold the line against federal gun control and safeguard our freedoms here in Ohio for the next generation!
But it’s not going to happen until the legislature takes action on HB62.

The good news is that unlike other versions of this legislation that have been around in the past, OGO’s SAPA legislation has real TEETH!
So if a state, county or municipal agency violates your gun rights by enforcing a federal gun control law — in violation of Ohio’s SAPA law — you could take that agency right into civil court for immediate relief and damages!
This is the same legislation that our sister organization in Missouri (the Missouri Firearms Coalition) got passed in the House and through a Senate committee recently.
The members of Ohio Gun Owners have worked hard to defend and maintain the rights we have, and still have a long way to go to turn Ohio into a very pro-gun state.
But we could lose those freedoms without SAPA legislation if the Democrats and RINO sellouts in Congress pass the monstrosities that they are currently debating.
